The Equality Act 2010 requires us to meet our Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED) across the range of protected groups of age, gender, disability, race, sex, sexual orientation, religion/belief, gender reassignment, marriage/civil partnership and pregnancy/maternity status.
As a public sector body, the CCG is required to prepare and publish Equality Objectives. Our equality objectives are aligned with our vision, values and strategic objectives.
We published Equality Objectives in 2014 and regularly monitor performance in relation these. Current equality objectives and our equality and diversity performance against them are detailed in our Annual Equality Report which can be found below
Listening to Migrant Voices: Healthwatch insight into West Sussex
Healthwatch West Sussex published a report and short film offering a snapshot of the feelings of coastal migrant families towards health care in West Sussex. Many of the themes and comments are applicable to the wider population as well as these communities.
